Accommodation Advisory

Accommodation is excluded in the seminar fee. Accommodation Committee will only assist you if you are not familiar with the place.

Other Advisory

1.This regional seminar has Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Memorandum.

2.Only snacks,certificates and meals are covered by the seminar fee. Speakers will not receive a talent fee for every talk. Some speakers will be given free accommodation and travel allowance only.

3.Only 40 participants will be accommodated in the seminar. So, if you’re interested, we need your confirmation  before  March 21, 2013.

Objectives

       This seminar aims to obtain the following objectives:

  • Provide background information on the RDA and its compatibility to Integrated Library Systems (ILS)
  • Update  participants on the new technologies in libraries
  • Update participants on open source and commercial ILS.
  • Update participants on the different open source Digital libraries.
  • Teach participants on the operation of citations and analyis
    Update participants on the new presentation medium
  • Updates in information retrieval
